Free Day of the Dead Celebration for Toddlers

I am a big fan of the Habitot toddler museum in Berkeley, but not the hefty admission fees. This Saturday for their Day of the Dead celebration, admission is free! Your tot will be in toddler heaven! A heads up that you will probably have to pay for parking if you drive. You can save some expense by packing a lunch and eating in their lunchroom (note that peanuts are not allowed on the premises). If it is nice weather you may want to stroll a few blocks up to the Berkeley campus and picnic there instead. Enjoy this special day! I know there are other celebrations around the Bay Area and many have kid-friendly spaces such as the one hosted by the Fruitvale neighborhood in Oakland. With all the autumn, halloween and day of the dead celebrations it is bound to be a very fun and festive week and weekend.
