Yard sale for a good cause

Doing the yard sale circuit this weekend? Here’s a good one to add to your list. Proceeds benefit kids of this Oakland school. See info reposted below:

Ready for a sophisticated garage sale where everything is FREE?

Saturday, August 17, 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Laurel Avenue (between California and Arizona Streets)

This is a benefit for the Laurel Elementary School 2014 Fifth Grade Science Field Trip

Make a generous financial contribution

(so our kids can camp out overnight and kiss a banana slug)

and then take what you like!

· 2 Britax Frontier Front-Facing car seats (gently used, great for nanny or grandparents’ car)

· Wooden blocks (lots and lots!)

· Toys

· Craft supplies (play-doh, fabric scraps, crayons)

· Brainquest educational workbooks

· Magnets (oodles of ‘em!)

Women’s clothing and accessories:

· Clothing (Eileen Fisher, Garnet Hill, Babette, Velvet, size M-L)

· Shoes (Prada, Camper, Cole Haan size 9)

· Handbags (Barney’s New York)

· Jewelry

Household items:

· Fireplace set (handcrafted toolset, screen and wood holder)

· Metal “elfa”-brand shelving

· Doormats (black all-weather)

· Kitchenware (fish cooker, odds & ends)

· Unopened household products (toothpaste, household cleaners…)

Living the life!

· Snorkeling gear

· “Terry”-brand heavy-duty metal containers (2)
