Oakland Parks-Recreation

Springland Festival & Egg Hunt – On Sunday, March 31, the Franklin Recreation Center, located at 1010 E. 15th Street, will host its annual Springland Festival and egg hunt. This free community event for families with children will run from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. with fun activities for kids including potato sack races, tug-of-war, parachute games, hula-hooping, carnival style games, a jumper, face painting, arts & crafts, dancing and egg hunts with candy, toys and prizes. Egg hunts will begin at 2:00 p.m. (ages 4 and under), 2:45 p.m. (ages 5-7) and 3:30 p.m. (ages 8-11). For more information, please contact Rebecca Chhom, Program Director, at (510) 238-7141.

Saturday, March 30th, 2013 from 1 PM – 4 PM at Mosswood Park in Oakland.

One of the largest Free Kid-Friendly Events in Oakland. Each child gets a free lunch, Easter Egg Basket, Easter Egg Hunt, and the chance to win a free bicycle.

A Dunsmuir tradition where children can greet the Easter Bunny, look for eggs on age appropriate egg hunts, play games, bring your own picnic, mansion tours available and enjoy a few hours at the Estate. The event runs from 12:00 noon—3:00 p.m.
3,500 attendees expected.

SPRING EGG SCRAMBLE Saturday, March 23, 2013 10 – 11:45 a.m.

The scramble will begin promptly at 11:40 in the different age areas. Event is subject to change–confirm before going.

Eggster’s 19th Annual Egg Hunt and Learning Festival

Eggster will be holding its 19th Annual Egg Hunt and Learning Festival on Saturday, March 16, 2013, from 10:00AM to 3:00PM at the UC Berkeley Campus on Memorial Glade. This event is free and handicap accessible, so bring the whole family for arts and crafts and egg hunts for children 12 years of age and under! The Learning Festival will take place rain or shine.
