East Bay Momma

A Frugal Momma Providing a Rich Childhood

It’s That Time of the Month

It’s that time of the month again. Nope, I am not hormonal… It is free admission to many museums around the Bay Area!! My thirteen month old LOVES being out and about. Half the fun for her at a recent outing to the zoo was just watching the other kids. (She did enjoy the animals too though for sure; upon seeing a live elephant for the first time she announced, “doggie!!!” lol). What could be better than a free outing to a museum that will entertain all ages.

If you are a Bank of America cardholder on Saturday and Sunday you can get into the following museums for free:

Contemporary Jewish Museum in San Francisco
Legion of Honor in San Francisco
de Young Museum in San Francisco
San Jose Museum of Art in San Jose
The Tech Museum of Innovation in San Jose
Chabot Space & Science Center in Oakland
The California Museum in Sacramento
Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento

On Sunday anyone can get into the following museums for free:

Asian Art Museum in San Francisco
Academy of Sciences in San Francisco
Oakland Museum

I know these free days can be really crowded so mentally prepare yourself for that and set your kiddo up for success with plenty of snacks and toys packed.

Have a wonderful weekend!
